Ema Lauren is a Filipino-American visual development artist and children’s book illustrator based in Manhattan.
Currently, she is a senior in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Since she was young, she has been passionate about drawing and creating stories. As a visual development artist, her goal is to create environments that enhance the stories that accompany them, as well as synthesize fiction with conversations of culture, history, and contemporary society.
When Ema Lauren is not drawing, she enjoys going to the beach, playing video games, and drawing her friends. Occasionally her rabbit, Eeyore, makes an appearance.
